I have had an on and off crush on a boy for the past few months now. Its been on and off because i just get confused with him. I like him because he is cute, smart, athletic, and nice. One problem is that i don't talk to him that much [it seems hard and it can get awkward] he always approaches me and try's to start a conversation. He tells me i don't talk much and i should. ';How come you only talk to me when I approach you?'; is exactly what he said... Today was really weird. He gave me this weird side hug, so i asked him did he want a full hug, and he said no): Later he said ';I wouldn't date you because you're to quiet'; in a joking way he said it. ... On other days he plays around with me sometimes. He takes my stuff (he gives it back), he lets me touch his hair, and he'll pretend to paint on me in art class (the brushes tickle! LOL)



So is he flirting?

Ima guy and i do that when i like girls :P so probably. but all guys are different so im not sure. I think you should try talking to him more though. If a girl i liked only talked to me when i approached her i would start thinking she didnt like me back. He's flirting, no question about it. He likes you because he said he wouldn't go out with you like a joke. One thing you could do to help the situation is approach him. That will make him feel more comfortable around you. I suggest you talk to him a little more then ask him out. :-)
Yeah, he just wants you to open up more and talking more. If you do, then yall can get to know eachother. Im sure he has a crush on you since he tickles you and takes your stuff... thats what guys do when they like a girl. Trust me i see it happen all the time.
